By accessing or using VTU Zone (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, registered users and contributors.

VTU Zone is an independent educational platform providing module-wise notes, important questions, lab programs, AI explanations and SGPA / CGPA tools for students of Visvesvaraya Technological University. We are not a substitute for official university material — always verify critical information with official VTU sources.

Some features require an account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised access.

Use VTU Zone only for lawful, educational purposes. Be respectful of other users, contributors and the academic community. Content you access here is for personal study and revision.

You may not:

• Scrape, crawl or harvest content from the platform using automated tools without prior written consent.
• Hack, probe or interfere with the security or integrity of our systems, accounts or infrastructure.
• Spam other users, post unsolicited promotional content or send bulk messages.
• Cheat or misuse the platform — for example, attempting to manipulate calculator results or use the Service for academic dishonesty during live examinations.
• Upload malicious code, infringe on intellectual property, or impersonate another individual or entity.

The VTU Zone brand, design, logos and original content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may view and use content for personal, non-commercial study. Any other use requires prior permission.

Subject names, codes and syllabus structures referenced on this site belong to Visvesvaraya Technological University and are used here for educational reference only.

If you contribute notes, questions or lab programs, you confirm that the content is original or properly attributed, does not infringe any third-party rights, and is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You grant VTU Zone a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display and distribute your contributions on the platform.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or engaged in conduct that harms the platform or its users. You may also stop using the Service at any time.

VTU Zone is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, including academic results, exam outcomes or data loss.

We continuously improve VTU Zone. We may add, modify or remove features at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms — material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Karnataka, India.
